Overview
Julie Ellison is a program manager for Pariveda’s internal and client-facing processes and products. She helps ensure organizational initiatives deliver meaningful benefits aligned with the firm’s objectives through effective project prioritization, stakeholder management, resource allocation, and inter-project risk and dependency management. Julie enjoys coaching teams on project management methods and frameworks.
Experience
Julie has over 25 years of corporate and consulting experience across the telecom, retail electricity, financial services, and non-profit industries. She has worked with clients to align their IT investments with the business strategy, optimize systems and processes to create operational efficiencies and develop and implement large-scale IT systems. Internal to Pariveda, Julie has held a variety of roles focused on increasing operational effectiveness through improved automation and process integration. Prior to Pariveda, Julie held positions at Argo Data Resource Corporation, Nortel Networks, and Andersen Consulting (Accenture).Â
Outside of the office
Julie spends much of her free time at club volleyball tournaments and the local community theater, supporting her teenage daughters in their passions. Julie’s favorite vacations typically involve river rafting, ziplining or scuba diving at locations where you are more likely to come across spotted eagle rays.Â
Education and service
Julie graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, and she earned her MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. Her volunteer work typically involves her church and her daughters’ school and extracurricular activities. Â
