Amazon Web Services brings the right technology to enable nonprofits to succeed and create an even great impact in the community.
NRMP® adopted a private cloud architecture in 2012. Between 2012 and 2016, the number of residency positions in their Main Residency Match® grew by 14% and applicant registrants grew by over 10%. As these numbers climbed year-over-year, NRMP® needed an AWS cloud adoption strategy to maintain the system’s performance and security during peak events when system availability and reliability were vital.
More than 1 million people in southeast Texas are food insecure. Through their network of community partners, the Houston Food Bank leads the fight against hunger by providing food assistance across its 18-county coverage area. In an effort to reach even more individuals, Houston Food Bank and Pariveda Solutions partnered to leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) in order to make meals even more accessible to those in need.
Pariveda leveraged their Home Delivery Platform solution on AWS to allow for Kids Meals to scale past their standard of 7000 meals delivered. They migrated the database, simplified driver navigation and logistics, and alerted customers when meals were on the way.

Philanthropic internships
Each summer, we provide the opportunity for students to experience a 10-week, philanthropic internship. Since 2010, we have overseen over 200,000 hours of donated project time by future hires from top tier universities.
Hackathons for social good
Our annual hackathon competition engages our employees to use their skills for causes addressing socioeconomic issues. We focus on developing business and technology solutions to meet societal needs.
