Result
Pariveda’s Home Delivery Platform enabled Kids’ Meals to double daily deliveries from 7,000 to 14,000 without adding office staff. They migrated the database, simplified driver navigation and logistics, and alerted customers when meals were on the way.

Kids' Meals Home Delivery - Kids’ Meals is a first-responder to children aged 5 and under facing debilitating hunger, with a mission to end childhood hunger.
Every day in the Houston community there are more than 50,000 preschool-aged children who live unsure of their next meal. That is 1 out of 4 Houston preschool-aged children. Kids’ Meals is bridging the gap for those families who have little means of obtaining meals for their young children on a regular basis. They are the only home meal delivery program in the nation for poverty-stricken preschool-aged children.
The organization has grown into a fleet with 13+ vans servicing over 14,000 meals a day and is looking towards further expanding to serve 27,000 meals per day by 2031. Using the home delivery platform Pariveda built, Kids’ Meals has doubled their daily deliveries from 7,000 to 14,000 without needing to increase office staff.
The Challenge
Leveraging technology to provide impact at scale in the community.
Kids’ Meals relied heavily on manual processes and spreadsheets to track logistics, which could not scale. They needed a home delivery platform to improve routing, tracking, and drivers’ ability to reach families.
Pariveda worked to customize an existing Home Delivery platform on AWS for use by drivers on their mobile devices, a new database, and import jobs to migrate data from the current spreadsheets, and an admin portal for managing customer data, routes, and drivers.
The Result
How Pariveda leveraged our Home Delivery Platform offering to help Kids' Meals:
- Developed a mobile web application to be used by drivers to deliver meals.
- Migrated data from current spreadsheets that helped with process adoption.
- Created an admin portal to manage routes, drivers, and customer data.
- Designed a 'Route Summary' feature powered by Claude Sonnet on Amazon Bedrock that gives staff a daily summary of completed deliveries and recommended actions.
The Impact
Beyond enabling continued scale of the program, the platform helps drivers communicate status quickly to the families they serve and has reduced the training and logistics burden on Kids' Meals staff, allowing them to focus their efforts on other needed areas.
