Overview
Brian Chae is a flexible thinker who enjoys solving complex problems in close collaboration with clients. Whether it is architecting new cloud solutions or diving into legal regulations and ramifications of data privacy law like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Brian has played numerous different types of roles in his career and prides himself on being able to work with a wide variety of stakeholders and speak their language. In addition to client work, Brian is passionate about mentoring and career growth and how to best align what people are looking for out of their careers with the opportunities they have.
Experience
With more than 14 years of consulting and software engineering experience, Brian’s primary areas of expertise lie in identity and access management, microservices, and MarTech. Within these areas, he has managed projects such as providing standardized identity and access management capabilities to millions of consumers, facilitating integrations across many different teams to be compliant with data privacy regulations, and enabling the switch over to a new data management platform. He has served clients across numerous industries, including automotive, event management, healthcare, and public utilities. He is currently focused on how to best build Marketing Technology (MarTech) solutions for the cookie-less future while respecting consumers’ increasing demand for privacy and transparency.Â
Outside of the office
Outside of work, Brian is an avid reader (particularly of science fiction) and loves spending time with his wife and 2 children.
Education and service
Brian graduated from the University of Illinois with a major in General Engineering with a focus on Computer Science and a minor in Business. He is actively involved with his church community as a deacon.
