48forty Solutions is a national pallet management and recycling company.

48forty runs its business on a portfolio of systems built up over many years: on-premises infrastructure, Dynamics CRM 2016, aging .NET and Angular applications, third-party integrations, customer portals, and a large, brittle, heavily interconnected and interdependent operational system at the center of it all.

The company brought in Pariveda for development capacity and technology advisory: a partner who could keep these systems running while charting a path out of the legacy state.

Legacy infrastructure, legacy code

The code and infrastructure carried years of accumulated technical debt, making them hard to change safely, expensive to run, and increasingly risky to operate. The mandate went beyond keeping the lights on. The goal was to modernize the estate end to end: migrate remaining on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure, retire long-standing technical debt, and rebuild legacy applications into secure, robust, scalable systems, all without disrupting the daily operations that depend on them.
