Dimitrios has more than 30 years of experience in corporate strategy, operations, and technology both in management consulting and in industry. He focuses on creating / unlocking corporate value stemming from either the revenue or the cost side of business.
Experience
As a Management Consultant, Dimitrios has worked on corporate strategy, IT strategy & planning, organizational & operational change, process improvements, performance management & metrics, mergers & acquisitions, and change management projects. As an Executive in banking and technology companies, he has led cross-functional teams to convert strategy into execution and results. Revenue-driving examples include the identification, quantification, and realization of growth opportunities for new products / services, new geographies, and new sectors / customers. Cost-containment examples include the design and execution of several efficiency-related initiatives combining people, processes, and technology. Dimitrios has provided services across multiple industries, such as banking, logistics & distribution, insurance, technology, manufacturing, higher education, and private equity with both domestic and international experience.
Prior to joining Pariveda, he was the Chief Strategy Officer of a technology company focusing on transaction automation solutions across 15 countries. In management consulting, he has worked with Bain & Co, Booz & Co, BDO, and Accenture.
Outside of the office
When not consulting, Dimitrios enjoys mentoring and transferring knowledge to others. He has taught strategy and leadership in two post-graduate programs of British Universities. He gives regular seminars at the University of Texas at Arlington, where he also serves as a member of the Industry Advisory Board.
Education and service
Dimitrios has an MBA from London Business School, an MSc in Analysis, Design, and Management of Information Systems from London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BSc in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi (Engineering Honor Society) and frequently contributes as an instructor for Pariveda’s internal training programs.
