Our Black Fins Employee Resource Group (ERG) is represented in every level across the firm and almost every market. We give back to the firm by sharing best practices such as review and promotion preparation, mentoring techniques, and executive discussions. We also share our technical, strategy, and industry expertise with purpose-driven organizations that align with our members’ values.

Technical certification initiative
Development of professional networks
The Black Fins ERG partners to engage and strengthen relationships with Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) across the United States. We engage with mentors across Pariveda to participate in mentoring and recruiting programs at HBCUs resulting in deeper relationships and career opportunities for students. Pariveda supports our community as advisory board members, team leaders, and mentors through projects like our Career Accelerator Program.
The Black Fins ERG launched an initiative modeled after the 2023 Partner Certification Challenge, which challenges Black Fins to pursue certifications in Azure and AWS. The initiative hosts group study sessions for employees pursuing the same certification and provides monthly recognition for certification recipients.
The Black Fins ERG has developed a culture of support, mentoring, growth, and connection. We host discussions with executives within and outside of the firm across a range of industries and backgrounds. We also engage in networking events to strengthen relationships beyond the day-to-day project and client engagements.
