Basudeb Chatterjee is a technology executive who bridges consultative leadership, product innovation, and commercial strategy—leveraging technology as a driver of revenue, scale, and business transformation. As a Senior Principal at Pariveda, he brings a unique blend of consulting expertise, executive leadership in industry, and entrepreneurial experience to help organizations build scalable, human-centered digital solutions that drive long-term value.
Experience
Basudeb’s career spans consulting, enterprise transformation, and startup leadership. He spent over a decade at Pariveda progressing from Consultant to Principal, leading complex programs across data strategy, customer experience, and platform modernization. He then served as Chief Information Officer at CalAmp, a global IoT and logistics company, where he spearheaded digital modernization initiatives to strengthen enterprise operations and platform scale.
After earning his MBA from Kellogg, Basudeb became a founding executive and CEO at Gradient, a consumer fintech startup focused on merging intelligent AI models to streamline underwriting for regional banks and credit unions. In this role, he shaped the company’s vision, raised early funding, and led the cross-functional team from inception to product delivery. He is passionate about helping organizations align strategy with execution, build adaptive systems, and empower teams through thoughtful leadership and innovation.
Outside of the office
Outside of work, Basudeb enjoys spending time with his wife, Srishti, and their two dogs, Iris and Duke. He’s an avid cook, travel enthusiast, and lifelong learner who finds energy in exploring new perspectives—whether through books, cultures, or conversations.
Education and service
Basudeb holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a minor in Business Foundations from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is an active mentor and contributor to Pariveda’s leadership and innovation communities, and remains engaged with emerging technology, venture capital, and entrepreneurial ecosystems.
