Overview
Emma Zucati has devoted time at Pariveda to client work, assisting in user experience improvements and implementing environments for applications, as well as encouraging a culture of inclusivity and belonging. Zucati’s work experience includes clients from manufacturing and telecommunications industries.
Experience
Starting as a college hire almost two years ago, Zucati has developed skills in front-end technologies, including Razor, React, and MVC architecture, using them to create new features and enhance existing ones. Zucati also gained experience in DevOps by migrating services to a new hosting platform and solidifying deployment pipelines.
Zucati joined Esprit de Femme upon starting at Pariveda and became a co-lead of the Seattle chapter a little over a year ago. Since then, Zucati has created events where women can engage in a safe space and feel seen and heard. These events include a speaker presenting her experience as a director in the healthcare field and a candle making class put on by a small business. In addition to Seattle based events, Zucati also interfaces with the Esprit de Femme leads of the other Pariveda locations and works to create a more inclusive and collaborative culture as a whole.
Outside of the office
Zucati loves to spend time outside, as much as Seattle’s rainy weather will allow. Zucati paddleboards and goes on a lot of urban hikes, always on the lookout for the best ice cream within walking distance. Zucati also enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with her family, who are local to the area.
Education and service
Zucati graduated Magna Cum Laude from Seattle University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a minor in Business Administration. Zucati donates to various charitable organizations, including those in support of women’s rights and colon cancer research. Zucati also volunteers at Food Lifeline monthly, an event organized through the Community Service group at Pariveda.
