Michael Hollar

Overview

Michael is a cross-functional leader at the intersection of business, data, and technology. His work experience spans Financial Services, Media & Entertainment, Consumer and Industrial Products, Public Sector, and Technology. Immersion in experience design methods, including the use of the DVF framework (Desirability, Viability, Feasibility), has informed how he approaches solution architecture in a way that produces thoughtful, positive impact across a range of outcome and stakeholder types.

Experience

With more than 25 years of consulting and industry experience, Michael’s hands-on experience includes Functional, Data, and Technology Strategy and Roadmaps, Solution Architecture, and implementation leadership across organizational and technology domains with an emphasis on data-driven solutions and purpose-built applications.

He has co-created frameworks for AI readiness, Living Systems, and Data Capability Maturity and has used ontological approaches to uncover informal networks and to inform strategic, capability, and workforce planning.

Outside of the office

Michael enjoys overlanding and generally getting outdoors and has recently taken up bouldering with his 10-year-old daughter, Alex.

Education and service

Michael graduated from Taylor University with a double major in Business and Accounting and an emphasis on MIS. He serves as a mentor to underrepresented minorities outside of Pariveda.
