Overview
Omar has worked as a management consultant for 15+ years, primarily serving clients in Dallas. Beginning his career as a business analyst, Omar has progressed to gain project and program management experience both as an individual and as a team leader. Omar has worked in multiple industries, though he has spent the majority of his career supporting clients in the utilities and energy industries.
Through demonstrated delivery excellence and an even-keeled demeanor, Omar has gained experience working directly with C Suite executives to manage high visibility, large budget, and/or highly complex projects ranging from an HRIS replacement to large-scale cost reduction to a global infrastructure rollout to M&A.
Experience
Prior to joining Pariveda, Omar spent time with both Thought Ensemble and Sendero in their Dallas offices.
Outside of the office
While not working, Omar spends lots of time with his wife, children, and dog, going on walks and playing at parks around town. He enjoys playing tennis and is an avid whiskey and tea enthusiast. Omar and his family enjoy traveling and are always looking forward to the next trip!Â
Education and service
Omar received his BBA with honors from Texas A&M while minoring in Economics and attaining the Certificate of International Business Studies. While an undergrad, Omar also studied abroad at the London School of Economics. After getting his BBA, Omar moved to France to attend EDHEC Business School, one of France’s prestigious Grande Ecole Universities, where he studied finance and received an MSc in Corporate Finance.
Omar has been an active member of the Texas A&M Management Department Advisory Board since its inception in Fall 2019. Omar also participates on a committee for his son’s elementary school and is an active member of his HOA’s Board of Directors.
