Overview
Mr. Waheed Din is broadly experienced in business and technology strategy across several industries including oil and gas, manufacturing, chemicals, services, healthcare, and financial. His expertise includes designing and driving enterprise transformations that create lasting change. Waheed has an affirmative communication style that resonates well at all levels of the organization and builds lasting partnerships.
Experience
With more than three decades of industry and consulting experience, Waheed has a wide breadth of knowledge in program stewardship, strategic process improvements, troubleshooting, and governance of enterprise IT. His primary areas of expertise lie in business strategy and planning. Most recently he has helped design and implement a multi-year digital and business transformation initiative at a Fortune 50 energy company which resulted in a net profitability increase of $1.2Bn.
He has managed an array of projects including the development of business plans for start-up companies seeking IPO launch, evaluation of large-scale M&A options, and implementing of global continuous improvement / lean programs. Prior to joining Pariveda Solutions, Mr. Din held positions at Slalom Consulting, BP, and Toyota.
Outside of the office
In his spare time, Waheed enjoys traveling with his wife and four children as well as outdoor pursuits including hiking and camping. He is also an avid reader and continuous learner with a deep interest in exploring other cultures, people, and our connections with them.
Education and service
Waheed graduated with an honors degree from University College London with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemical Engineering and completed a master’s in management information systems from Leicester University, UK. He is an active member of his local community and participates in several charitable organizations as an advisor and hands-on helper.
