Overview
Kristin Martin has a breadth of experience in Human Resources and People Operations in the technology and professional services space. Martin is passionate about people and creating an environment for all humans to feel a sense of psychological safety and belonging.
Experience
With more than 15 years of Human Resources experience, Martin has a wide breadth of knowledge in HR management & strategy, Compensation & Benefits, Diversity & Inclusion (specifically in the space of Unconscious Bias), Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Employee Relations and conflict resolution. Martin’s primary areas of expertise lie in strategic performance management planning and personnel conflict resolution. Martin developed a passion for learning about and integrating strategies around unconscious bias in the workplace in an effort to strengthen an organization’s culture of inclusion and belonging.
Martin has managed a wide variety of projects, such as co-designing and implementing a Respect in the Workplace program, developing and delivering Building an Inclusive Work Environment employee training and leading through acquisitions. Prior to joining Pariveda Solutions, Martin held positions at Geico (leadership program) and FKA Pegasus Solutions.
Outside the office
When Martin is not working, she loves spending time with her husband and two children, Colter and Bristol, while enjoying the outdoors (camping, hiking, baseball and OU football are our favorites!). Martin is also an avid Cross Fitter and nutrition fanatic.
Education and service
Martin graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Business. Martin has held her Professional of Human Resources (PHR) certification for 12 years and her Society of Human Resources Management certification (SHRM-CP) for 9 years. Martin is a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and enjoys participating as an instructor in Pariveda’s internal training classes.
