Overview
With over 25 years of experience in building and deploying complex technology solutions across multiple industries, Kent has developed particular expertise in the telecom, healthcare and health insurance sectors. He brings a wealth of experience to clients facing big business and technology challenges, with a focus on customer engagement technology and business transformation. Kent also has a keen interest in the practical applications of emergent generative AI. Â
Experience
Kent began his career as a software developer, working with several large telecommunication carriers. He later transitioned to consulting, expanding his focus to include non-profit, healthcare, and retail industries. After working with a big-three consulting firm, Kent helped launch an early-stage cloud-based marketing start-up that focused on healthcare. In his most recent role prior to joining Pariveda, he served as the Technology Enablement Practice Director for a mid-sized consulting company based in Seattle.
Outside of the office
When he is not working, Kent enjoys spending time with his family, which includes his wife, Terra, an elementary school teacher, and their son, Benjamin. They often venture into the great outdoors to camp and ski. Kent is also an avid traveler and enjoys playing a wide variety of strategic board games.Â
Education and Service
Kent holds a B.S. in Finance and Management Information Systems from the Darla Moore School of Business and an MS in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University. He is actively involved in his son’s school fundraising efforts and is passionate about promoting technology literacy among older populations.
