Mr. Scott Hajer is a highly skilled leader and consultant who combines over 25 years of strategic acumen with human-centric ideals to consistently empower companies to rise above industry challenges and achieve their ambitious goals.
Experience
Beginning his career in the US Army as a nuclear, biological, and chemical warfare specialist, Scott quickly earned recognition as the AMCCOM Soldier of the Year. He then transitioned into roles in OSHA compliance and technical writing before diving into the world of consulting. In his first position building a college recruiting operation, Scott transformed a $5 million consultancy into a competitive force against Fortune 500 recruiting powerhouses. More recently, Scott has built a recruiting organization that brings an executive search recruiting approach downstream, allowing his and client organizations to acquire the highest caliber talent from entry level through senior executive.
Scott is committed to driving impactful change and creating lasting value for clients across various sectors. He is highly regarded by his colleagues and clients alike for his analytical prowess, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence. He is known for his ability to build strong relationships with clients and to work collaboratively with teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Outside of the office
Scott is a dedicated husband to a gardening entrepreneur and Halloween-obsessed wife, as well as the father of two hilarious boys. Annually Scott seeks out wide-open spaces in the Arctic, desert, or mountains to find time for introspection and self-reflection. He believes that it’s important to take a step back from the busyness of life to reflect on one’s experiences, values, and goals. The vastness of nature provides the perfect backdrop for this kind of reflection, allowing him to connect with his inner self and gain clarity on his priorities.
Education and service
Mr. Hajer earned a BA in English Language and Literature from The University of Chicago. Scott serves as an Election Judge in all local and national elections and is a board member of TALK (Talent Acquisition Leadership Keynotes), the world’s largest society of Talent Acquisition professionals.
