Jake Gavin has a breadth of experience implementing technology solutions across a wide range of industries. He has worked with clients in agriculture manufacturing, payments, home retail, airlines, and more. Jake loves coaching and learning from others while leading highly effective teams capable of solving his client’s most complex business and technology challenges.
Experience
Jake’s consulting experience has spanned a wide variety of technology solutions development and project management, but his primary interests lie in helping his clients create value through data & analytics as well as AI & ML. He has over eight years of experience developing Cloud-native data platforms across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, focusing on large, petabyte-scale data processing, real-time IOT data use cases and data governance. Jake has recently developed a passion for generative AI and has been assisting clients in developing responsible uses of generative AI that drive greater business efficiency and create value for their customers.
Outside of the office
When Jake is not working, he loves spending time with his wife, Meghan and son Henry. He also enjoys golfing, attending Notre Dame football games, and visiting the family farms of his wife’s family and his own in rural western Illinois.
Education and service
Jake graduated with distinction from the University of Notre Dame with a major in Computer Science. He is an active volunteer with the First Tee of Greater Chicago – a youth development organization focused on empowering kids through the game of golf.
