David is a Principal in Pariveda Toronto setting technical direction for the office. He is a traveler at heart and is always searching for a fresh, new perspective. He has worked with clients spanning oil & gas, banking, healthcare, private equity, insurance, mining, and the public sector. To all his clients in every industry, David brings his passion for leading teams and fostering positivity and trust to take on tough challenges.
Experience
David brings 15+ years of experience in solution architecture and management consulting to develop strategies around analytics, data, and systems. His competency clusters around bridging business-focused thought leadership and leading teams of solution architects, software engineers, and data experts to deliver positive solutions to tough problems. More recently, David has championed intelligent workflows and event-driven architecture patterns as a way to modernize, decouple, and scale systems that have traditionally struggled to support flexible demand and ongoing changes demanded by business.
Outside of the office
Outside of the office, David can be spotted at the ski hill, a provincial campground or occasionally jet-setting off overseas in search of the latest food trend. When not on the go, watching (and re-watching) his favorite comedies are an absolute staple pastime.
Education and service
David is a Toronto native and attended Toronto Metropolitan University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
