Overview
Sunny Cheng is a technical manager in Pariveda’s DC office with experience in implementing IT solutions and managing engineering teams. He has experience in the fields of health care, education, hospitality, and telecommunications. He has been involved in Pariveda’s effort to become B Corp Certified and brings a broad perspective to solving problems involving both people and technology.
Experience
With more than ten years of consulting experience, Sunny has a wide breadth of knowledge in software, cloud, and data engineering in all stages of a client’s technical journey.
Sunny has led the Community Service team in the DC market and is a consistent contributor to Pariveda’s Social Impact circle, focusing on efforts to improve Pariveda’s own ESG footprint through B Corp Certification and expanding Pariveda’s efforts to get more involved in delivering in the non-profit space.
Outside of the office
Sunny has a cream Shiba Inu, who is both the best and worst thing that happened to him, depending on the day. Sunny is a big film buff, with his love of stories and better worlds informing the perspective he takes to solving problems.
Education and service
Sunny graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Economics from George Washington University.
