Overview

David is a technology thought leader and solutions architect capable of delivering complex and strategic, data, technology, and business solutions across a variety of industries. He’s obsessed with helping organizations transform their data vision and capabilities to drive maximum value from data, especially in the MartTech space. He is also passionate about helping others through formal and informal coaching, mentoring, and paying it forward. 

Experience

With more than 18 years of industry and consulting experience, David has a breadth and depth of expertise in program & project management, data-driven transformations, solution architecture, data analytics, technology solutions development, operational strategy, and strategic process improvement. His industry experience spans the pharmaceutical, retail, energy, commerce, medical, federal aviation, managed server hosting, commercial real estate, and financial services industries. David has deep solution architecture and technical expertise across the data stack, as well as Java, .NET, mobile, AWS, and Azure platforms. Prior to joining Pariveda Solutions, Mr. Engfer held software development positions at Northrop Grumman and USAA.  

Outside of the office

When David is not in the office, he loves spending time with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys cooking, entertaining, family, friends, watching movies/shows, playing board games and has a deep passion for mountain biking. 

Education and experience

David sits as chair and board member of the Baylor University Computer Science Industry Advocates Board. Mr. Engfer graduated from Baylor University in 2006 with a B.S. in Bioinformatics with a minor in Chemistry, and he was a research fellow in UT Southwestern Medical Center’s 2005 QP-SURF program. He’s passionate about serving others through community involvement, and his faith is a big portion of his life as well.
