Overview
Ted Cogan has a unique experience in the world of Corporate Services. Starting out as a Consultant in our Chicago office, Ted’s background started in software development before making the switch to Talent Development. Ted’s experience in the consulting world gave him a unique perspective and ability to empathize with his audience as he moved into special projects for Talent Development, which includes training on our Expectations Framework, developing articulation of promotion criteria, and a search and selection for an e-learning platform. Ted moved into managing the firm’s Performace Management processes and has been leading a team to execute and improve the semi-annual review process. Ted’s passion for process and ability to empathize with his end users allows his work to improve and make processes more efficient while also making the experience better for Mentors and those partaking in the review process. Ted looks to improve the world around him, creating a scalable, sustainable, and enjoyable world for all.
Outside of the office
Ted spends his time out of the office gardening, and working on DIY house projects. He is particularly passionate about sustainability efforts, which led him to become vegan in 2019 and taking up beekeeping in his backyard.
Education and service
Ted graduated Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame with a major in Computer Science in 2016. He is an active member of the Trinity Valley Beekeeper’s Association and his local neighborhood’s historic home tour planning team.
