Overview
Daniel Clements is a seasoned technologist and manager with extensive delivery experience across a range of industries, including education technology, non-profit, automotive, geographic information services, and energy. He loves to dive deep to solve complex technical challenges while seeking to build a team environment that challenges team members to grow and develop themselves to their fullest potential.
Experience
Daniel is passionate about solving challenging problems in grey spaces and adept at rapidly identifying solutions that are creative, cost-effective, efficient, and pragmatic. He has a demonstrated history of successful delivery in cloud architecture and modernization, DevOps and DevSecOps automation, and capability and process analysis. Daniel is also focused on the implementation of machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions and exploring their human impacts. Prior to joining Pariveda, he was a software engineer at ZillionInfo. He also co-founded Curia, Inc, where he applied machine learning to the challenges of understanding bias in news media.
Outside of the office
Daniel is an avid soccer player and fan, a musician in a local alternative rock cover band, frequent traveler, and lover of sports of all kinds. He treasures sharing many of these hobbies with his wife, Ellen.
Education and service
Daniel graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Computer Engineering. He also volunteers his free time for pro-bono consulting engagements in the Northern Virginia and DC area.
