Overview
Cecil has over 31 years of experience in business strategy, mergers & acquisitions, application development, delivery, implementation, and functional and operational leadership. He has worked in multiple industries with a strong concentration in insurance & financial services. Some of his major clients were in insurance (auto & health), consumer banking, airline, retail, distribution, securities, and professional education. The diversity of his deep experiences is his “superpower” because he’s able to bring a variety of perspectives to the table. He is also driven to get things done and consistently (and continuously) delivers value.
Experience
Over the past 31+ years, Cecil has spent 21 (and growing) years in consulting/professional services. He has a breadth of leadership experience. He has worked with many Fortune 500 companies to deliver significant business value through the execution of technology & business strategies, operational changes, and the implementation of technology solutions.
Prior to joining Pariveda, he was the Head of Strategic Operations for Thoughtworks’ North America Enterprise Modernization, Platform, and Cloud Service Line. He was also the Practice Lead for Delivery Assurance.
Outside of the office
When Cecil is not working, he balances his time with family, friends, and active service work. He is a foodie at heart and loves tech gadgets.
Education and service
Cecil graduated from Cornell University with B.S. in Computer Science from the School of Engineering. He is an active board member of AFC, and he’s on the executive board for Chicago Roundup. His favorite quote that sums up his life is, “May the work I have done speak for me.”
